Product description Thiourea<\/h2>\n

Thiocarbamide is an\u00a0organosulfur compound\u00a0with the\u00a0formula\u00a0SC(NH2<\/sub>)2<\/sub>\u00a0.<\/p>\n

It is structurally similar to\u00a0urea, except that the\u00a0oxygen\u00a0atom is replaced by a\u00a0sulfur\u00a0atom, but the properties of urea and thiourea differ significantly.<\/p>\n

Thiourea is a colourless\/white fine crystalline.The main application is in textile processing.\u00a0Other industrial uses of thiourea include production of flame retardant resins, surface metal treatment, vulcanization accelerators, used as an auxiliary agent in diazo paper, light-sensitive photocopy paper and almost all other types of copy paper.\u00a0It is also used to tone silver-gelatin photographic prints.<\/p>\n
